it's light and smells very nice. i sometimes use it as a hair gel/pomade/cream on the ends of my hair to tame frizz and get some control. i use it once a week or so on my scalp, massage it well, and keep it overnight. when i shampoo my hair in the morning, it is lush and full. i have noticed much less shedding when i brush my hair since i started using it, too. love it.
