Instructions
After thoroughly cleansing the skin apply evenly over affected area with a cotton ball and gently rub the face and affected areas. Do not wipe off, let the gel dry. Apply the gel at least twice a day.
The complete treatment may require 1 to 2 bottles and last from three to four weeks. Acne Gel is a distilled water based gel, it dries quickly without leaving any traces and it does not stain clothes. It makes it easy to use during daytime, in school or at work. Some facts about acne
This skin condition is most frequent on teenagers (juvenile acne) but it sometimes is also present in adulthood.
Acne is caused by the hyper secretion of the sebaceous glands (seborrhoea). The sebaceous glands naturally produce a form of oil called sebum. Sebum keeps the skin moisturized. Inside these glands is a tiny evacuation canal (pilo-sebaceous canal) along which the oil travels, eventually coming out on the skin. When these glands grow, they produce more oil than usual. This excess of oil can get clogged inside the canal, causing a build-up of oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria. This build-up causes blackheads, inflammation and redness.
